What started as an orange grove has grown into a brilliant u-pick destination with peaches, blackberries, wildflowers and sunflowers.
The sunflower field is absolutely beautiful for photos. They also work with local photographers, so if you’re interested in a proper photoshoot, get in touch and they’ll point you in the right direction!
The first sunflower field was planted in 2019 and it became popular as people enjoyed the maze.

They open in the spring for their annual Sunflower Festival, where you can walk through a stunning sunflower maze, visit the u-pick veggie gardens and meet the farm animals.
If you visit in the fall, you can make a whole day of it as they also have a pumpkin patch for Halloween! 🎃

Every May, they host a Sunflower Festival — but if you can’t wait that long, their u-pick fields often open a little earlier.
Walk through rows of tall, cheerful sunflowers and pick your own bouquet to take home!
But the flowers are just the beginning. Kids can bounce on the jumping pillow, ride the cow train (available on weekends), pet friendly animals, zoom down slides, race pedal carts and explore treehouses.

However, the sunflower season in Florida happens twice a year!
Due to the abundance of sunshine and warm weather, most sunflowers farms in Florida plant their seeds both in summer and winter which means that you can see them during fall and spring.
This means that the best months to visit the fields and see the flowers in full bloom:

The light is soft, warm and golden, which just makes everything look magical. If you want to avoid the crowds too, go early morning rather than at sunset!
👟 Wear Boots and a hat
You will be walking in a field and as pretty as it may be, it’s still a farm!
Make sure to wear sneakers or boots so you can walk around with ease and don’t ruin your shoes.
As it can be very sunny, I also recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen!
Not only will it protect your little head from the sun but you can also use it as a prop for the photos!
