If you’re a Beatles fan, this one is for you!
It might sound surprising but there is an actual museum dedicated to the Beatles in Florida. Itโs called the Penny Lane Beatles Museum and is located in downtown St. Petersburg.
Itโs one man’s personal collection that was built up over 40 years.
It holds over 1,600 artifacts with close to 1,000 on display at any one time. They rotate what’s out so it changes.
It’s open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Youโll need about 1.5 hours to visit but if you are a true fan you might even want to spend more time there!
While this is a new location, the museum in itself is actually not new as it used to be in Dunedin. It just moved into a bigger space.
Please note that while I try to be as accurate as possible, I always recommend checking the official website and socials. Things can change quickly and as much as I try to stay on top of things, it’s not always the case.
๐ธ Quick Information About The Penny Lane Beatles Museum

๐ Where: 146 2nd Street N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, one block from Central Avenue and across from The Sundial shops
๐ Opening times: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
๐ธ What is it?
The museum is the personal collection of Dr Robert Entel, who started picking up Beatles memorabilia in the 1980s while he was studying medicine in the UK. ๐ฌ๐ง
He kept going for four decades, and the result is over 1,600 artifacts.
Around 1,000 of them are out at any one time and the displays rotate regularly, so if you go back a year later you won’t be looking at the same thing.
Youโll find instruments, clothes, records, signed documents, programs and posters. ๐
There’s also a lot of things related to Beatlemania such as vintage toys, dolls and games, including a Flip Your Wig board game and an official fan club pinback button.
Of course the Beatles songs are played all day long. Donโt hesitate to dance to it, itโs even encouraged! ๐ถ
Please note that it’s a registered nonprofit and they aren’t owned or authorized by the Beatles or Apple Corps.
