If you love Greek food and Greek culture, this is the perfect day out for you!
The Orlando Greek Festival takes over the grounds of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Maitland, just north of Orlando, for 3 days every November.
You’ll find delicious food, live Greek music and dance troupes. They also offer guided tours of the church.
Admission is completely free and it runs rain or shine.
Please note that while I try to be as accurate as possible, I always recommend checking the official website and socials. Things can change quickly and as much as I try to stay on top of things, it’s not always the case.

🇬🇷 What is it?
The Orlando Greek Festival is a Greek themed festival run by the Holy Trinity parish.
It takes place on the church grounds and is free to attend.
As you might expect, the focus here is the food.🥘
You’ll find moussaka, pastitsio, dolmades, a grecian lamb shank braised in red wine, Greek baked chicken, shrimp saganaki finished with ouzo and feta, spanakopita, tiropita, avgolemono soup and Greek salad.
There’s a separate stand doing gyros and chicken or pork souvlaki skewers.
Over in the pavilion you can also find saganaki, which is cheese flamed with brandy at your table, and fried calamari. 🔥
For the sweet side there are loukoumathes, which are Greek donuts drenched in honey syrup and cinnamon, plus baklava and Greek frappe.
And then there’s a whole bakery in the Market Place. Galaktoboureko, kataifi, melomakarona, kourambiethes, portokalopita, flogeres and a baklava cheesecake. 🍯
If you want to take some home, their Take & Bake booth sells the frozen versions of several dishes.
So basically, if you are a foodie, this one will be a real heaven!
Away from the food, there’s live Greek music from a group called the Aegean Duo playing in sets through the day, and six different dance troupes rotating on and off, from the little ones right up to the adult Hellenic Dance Troupe. 💃
They also run guided tours of the church a few times a day.
🎟️ Admission: Free
🅿️ Parking: There’s limited parking at the church itself and you have to pay for it. The easier option is one of the two free off-site lots, Lot A at Hope Road and Wymore Road and Lot B at Sandspur Road and Wymore Road. A free air-conditioned shuttle runs from both, starting at 4:00pm on Friday and 11:00am on Saturday and Sunday. There’s a wheelchair-accessible minibus as well, just ask the shuttle staff.
