If your idea of a good weekend involves wood-fired pizza and a cannoli, this one is for you!

There is an Italian festival taking place in Jupiter in November. It’s called the Galbani Feast of Little Italy and it will be taking over Abacoa Town Center for 3 days!

It’s an open-air festival with more than 30 food vendors, a main stage running all day, a cooking stage with Italian chefs, and a piazza set up like an Italian town square.

Admission is completely free, there are no tickets to book, and parking is free too.

Fair warning though. There are no ATMs on site and only some of the vendors take cards, so take cash with you or you’ll be stuck. 💵

Please note that while I try to be as accurate as possible, I always recommend checking the official website and socials. Things can change quickly and as much as I try to stay on top of things, it’s not always the case.

🇮🇹 What is it?

The Galbani Feast of Little Italy is a free 3-day Italian festival held outdoors across Abacoa Town Center, in Jupiter.

It was started by Jerry Somma and Bill Fagnano and is all about Italian-American food, music and heritage.

The food is the heart of the festival (which is to be expected for an Italian festival!). You’ll find more than 30 vendors making wood-fired pizza, arancini, tiramisu and more. 🍕

There’s an open-air piazza laid out like a classic Italian town square, which is the perfect place to have an espresso and a cannoli. ☕

There are also Italian chefs doing live demos. You can find them at The Galbani Cooking Stage runs. This includes making pasta, cooking sauces and hands-on tastings.

On the shopping side there are artisan vendors selling handcrafted ceramics, leather goods, jewelry and imported Italian specialty items.

For families there are kids’ activities like ace painting as well as gelato stations and Italian games. 🍦

On the main stage you’ll find live bands, tarantella dancers, opera singers and DJ sets. 🎶

This year’s headliners are The Studio 54 Band on the Friday at 8:00pm, Frank Stallone on the Saturday at 8:00pm and Franco Corso on the Sunday at 5:00pm.

There are a couple of fun extras on the stage schedule too. A Sicilian Oven pizza eating contest on the Saturday at 1:00pm, and Galbani Celebrity Cheese Stacking for Charity on the Sunday at 2:00pm. 🧀

And on the Saturday afternoon they’re going for a world record. Their website doesn’t say which one, so that’s a surprise on the day.

🎟️ Admission: Free, and no tickets required. If you want somewhere private to sit by the stage, they do sell VIP Villas and Reserved Stage Pods in the amphitheater area.

🅿️ Parking: Free, in the Abacoa parking garages and the designated open lots.

🚗 From West Palm Beach: Around 25 minutes

🚗 From Fort Lauderdale: Around 1 hour 30 minutes

⚠️ Worth knowing: Take cash. There are no ATMs on site and only some vendors accept cards. Coolers are not allowed, and they ask you not to bring large bags or backpacks. On the other hand they actively encourage you to bring a lawn chair, so do.

🐶 Dogs: Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on a leash and happy around people.
