If you’re after a proper old-school Florida weekend with none of the theme park crowds, this is the one!

This weekend, the Florida Seafood Festival takes over Battery Park right in Apalachicola.

It runs over two days in November and calls itself Florida’s oldest maritime event.

Oyster shucking, oyster eating, blue crab races, a parade down Highway 98, a 5K and live country music both nights… These are some of the activities you should expect! 🎸

Friday is free. Saturday is $10 at the gate and children under 12 go free, which includes the headline show.

Please note that while I try to be as accurate as possible, I always recommend checking the official website and socials. Things can change quickly and as much as I try to stay on top of things, it’s not always the case.
