The Destin Seafood Festival takes over the Destin Harbor Boardwalk every September, and this year it runs Friday September 25th through Sunday September 27th.
And the best part about it is that it’s completely free to attend. You just turn up.

The Destin Harbor Boardwalk.
🦐 What is it?
It’s a three day seafood festival put on by the Destin Charter Boat Association, a nonprofit that has been going since 1954. The festival itself started back in 1978. 🐟
Over 75 vendors set up along the boardwalk, including artists, jewelry, retail, commercial products and food. 🛍️
The food vendors and the dining area are all in the Heron Harbor parking lot, so that’s where you want to head if you’re there to eat. 🦀
There’s live music going all three days across several stages along the harbor, including the Harborwalk Village stage, the Boathouse Oyster Bar, AJ’s and Edge Seafood & Skybar. 🎸
There’s a Fudpuckers Kids Zone too, with oyster shell painting, face painting, games and casting contests. 🎨
And Harborwalk Village puts on fireworks at 9pm on the Saturday. 🎆

There are five lots to aim for:
Marler Parking Lot, across Highway 98 from Brotulas (cross at the streetlight)
Heron Harbor lot, 314 Harbor Blvd
Harborwalk Village, 10 Harbor Blvd
Brotulas, 210D Harbor Blvd
Community Center, 101 Stahlman Ave
🐶 Dogs: Leashed dogs are allowed for the full length of the festival.
