If you’re looking for a day out near Orlando that’s nothing like the theme parks, this one is a bit of a wildcard!
Located in Clermont, Showcase of Citrus is a working citrus grove that’s turned itself into a proper farm attraction.
The main thing here is the monster truck tour. You climb aboard a custom-built monster truck and head out through the groves, woodland, pastureland and swampland, hand-feeding the animals along the way.
And the best part about it is that you can also meet capybaras and lemurs, alongside many other animals. đĻĢ
The capybara and lemur meet and greets have limited spots.
It’s only 40 minutes from Orlando and 1 hour 10 from Tampa, so it’s an easy one to slot into a Florida trip.
Please note that while I try to be as accurate as possible, I always recommend checking the official website and socials. Things can change quickly and as much as I try to stay on top of things, it’s not always the case.
đ Quick Information About Showcase of Citrus

đ Where: 15051 Frank Jarrell Rd, Clermont, FL 34714
đ What is it?
Showcase of Citrus is a citrus grove in Clermont that you can actually visit and wander around.
The thing everyone comes for is the monster truck tour. You climb aboard a custom-built monster truck and it takes you out across the property. đ
You go through the citrus groves, native woodland, pastureland and swampland, so you see a lot more of Florida than you’d expect from a farm visit.
The animals are the surprise. On the tour you get to hand-feed zebras, bison and water buffalo, and there are camels on the property too.
Back on the farm itself there are goats, pigs, chickens, a miniature horse and a donkey, and you can buy animal feed at the Old Time Country Store if you just want to feed them yourself. đ
And then there are the two that nobody expects on a citrus farm: capybaras, and a pair of Black and White Ruffed Lemurs called Martin and Morty. đĻĢ
There’s loads more on site if you’re making a day of it, from gem mining to picking your own citrus.
It’s open every single day of the year, which makes it a really easy one to plan around.
đ Haunted Monster Truck Rides
They run haunted versions of the monster truck ride on select nights in the fall, in the evening after dark. Reservations are recommended and tickets go on sale in advance, so check the website for this year’s dates.
