When it comes to ferries and boat trips, there are loads of options in Florida!
But one thing that most people don’t always realise is that it’s possible to go to the Bahamas with the ferry from Florida.
The nearest island is Bimini and it only takes 2 hours to get there from Fort Lauderdale with the express ferry. You can also get to Grand Bahama in 3 hours.
These trips can be booked with the operator directly (and therefore are more flexible) or can be booked as a day trip with a tour operator.
