The absolute highlight of this property is the view! Whether you are in the living room or the deck, you can soak up the fantastic views over the coast and Deep Creek. It’s sensational! You will never get tired of it! It’s also a good spot to watch the sunrise and the wallabies jumping around the house.

The house itself is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The furniture is beautiful and so well chosen.

You will also find a large deck just outside the living room. This is a great place to spend time with your loved ones! You can have your meal on the dining table and relax in the hanging egg chair. The deck was closed off with bug nets which means you won’t be bored by the bugs or mosquitoes.

In terms of location, you will be in Cuttlefish Bay which is 10 minutes east of the ferry terminal. This is a more underrated part of KI but quite a good place for a holiday as it’s very relaxing and close to some of the most famous wineries such as Dudley Wines.

It is truly a beautiful house made of local limestones and featuring unusual round windows. The absolute highlight is the sea views. You can enjoy them from every room in the house (even from the bed!).

The sand is very white and the water crystal blue, making it one of the best beaches on the island. That said, it’s known by the locals but tourists rarely come here so you’re really in for an authentic trip.

The kitchen is fully equipped so you can easily cook all your meals here. You’ll find a large dining table in the kitchen and on the deck.

You will be between Penneshaw and Kingscote so you can reach the ferry terminal and the shops very easily. From there you can easily get to American River and explore Pennington Bay. The beaches are amazing and there are a few very nice walks. 

If you are a foodie, you will also enjoy this location as it’s very close to the wineries and oyster farms.

The house itself has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people. It’s perched on a hill and boasts amazing views of the bay. You will enjoy spending time outside. It’s a good spot for drinks and there are loads of animals running around. If you’ve always wanted to see some wallabies and koalas in the wild, you’ll be in for a treat!

Also, it’s only 5 minutes walk to the beach so you can easily go there as much as you want. Stokes Bay is a great spot for sunset as well so whether you choose to go during the day or in the evening, you will love it.

The beach is very long so you will also find a lot of walking opportunities. Perfect for outdoor lovers!

The house itself is absolutely stunning. It’s very stylish and modern. The furniture and amenities are amazing! There are big french windows in the living room letting a lot of daylight coming in and allowing you to truly enjoy the views. You’ll also find a cute hanging egg chair and a fireplace!

You will also find a spacious deck (accessible from the living room and master bedroom). This is the best part as it boasts fantastic ocean views! It’s a good spot to eat your breakfast or dinner. We’d also recommend grabbing a bottle of wine in one of the local wineries so you can sip on your glass while watching the sunset.

If you need to work during your stay (or are working remotely), this is also a good place as there is a workstation.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which makes it suitable for a group or family of 6.

That said, staying in Kingscote is so convenient. You will be close to the shops, restaurants and bars. 

The Airbnb itself is very cute and stylish. There even is a mural outside! Perfect to take beautiful photos. 

It was beautifully decorated. There is a lot of wood, high-quality furniture and a very spacious bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub.

It’s also important to note that this is one of the rare pet-friendly Airbnbs on Kangaroo Island. The backyard is fully fenced which is very handy if you have a dog.
